What cookies are
Cookies are small files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They may remember a setting, support a function, provide security information or measure use. This policy explains the categories that may be used on this website. The exact technologies can change as the site develops.
Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Stores your cookie-banner choice and supports basic security or page operation. | Session or up to 12 months | Required for the requested service |
| Analytics | May provide aggregated information about pages visited, device type and broad navigation patterns. | Up to 13 months | Consent required |
| Functional | Remembers optional settings that improve convenience, such as display preferences. | Up to 12 months | Consent required |
Current site storage
The current static site uses essential browser storage to remember the value selected in the cookie banner. The key is named tonicvault-cookie-choice. The site does not need this value to identify you by name. If optional measurement or functional technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated with their purposes, providers and retention periods before or when consent is requested.
Your choices
Select “Accept All” to permit optional categories presented by the banner, “Reject Non-Essential” to allow only necessary storage, or “Preferences” to indicate your choice where controls are provided. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful, and essential storage may continue because the site cannot remember your refusal without storing that choice.
Browser controls
You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to block third-party cookies, block all cookies, or ask before storing them. The exact steps vary by browser and device, so use the browser’s privacy or help menu. Blocking all storage may affect the banner and other site functions. You may also use private browsing, although its storage is usually deleted when the private window closes.
Third parties and transfers
If a future analytics or embedded service places technology on your device, that provider may receive technical data under its own privacy policy. We will identify relevant providers where applicable and use appropriate consent and transfer safeguards. External links are not controlled by this policy.
Contact and updates
For questions about cookies, contact [email protected] or write to Tonicvaultcabints BV, Rue des Tisserands 18, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. We may revise this policy when storage practices change. The updated date will be shown on this page.
